The Hull-Daisetta Mayhaw Festival is approaching it’s 32nd Annual Festival, scheduled for May 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, 2014 in the City of Daisetta, Liberty County, Texas. The Festival was started to promote and encourage tourism in the City of Daisetta. Over the years, the festival has grown tremendously, attracting thousands over the three-day event.

The Mayhaw Festival is a three day (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), fun filled, family event. There are numerous contests, such as the Doubles Horseshoe Pitching, Doubles Washer Pitching, BBQ and Fajita Cook-off, Grill Master Competition, Beauty Contest, Roping Contest, 3-Man Basketball & 3-Man Volleyball Competitions, Gospel Singing, Mayhaw Jelly Contest, Domino Competition, Craft Booths, Carnival Rides & Games, Tours of the Historical Pound House, a Parade and a Street Dance. We also have over a 100 booth spaces with a variety of foods, along with arts and crafts and much more.. The carnival provides three days of fun for children and adults.
Daisetta is located approximately 40 miles west of Beaumont and approximately 56 miles northeast of Houston.

From Beaumont take US Hwy 90 West toward Houston for 34 miles to Raywood.  Turn (right) north onto FM Hwy 770 & travel 6 miles to Daisetta.

From Houston take US Hwy 90 East toward Beaumont for 50 miles to Raywood.  Turn (left) north onto FM Hwy 770 & travel 6 miles to Daisetta.
